Vernon Wells is batting a sickly .210/.244/.235 since June 1. In 127 plate appearances since the beginning of last month, Wells has no homers and a .479 OPS. On the plus side, he hit safely in all three games over the weekend against the Red Sox. Of course, all three of those hits were singles. He's not ownable in mixed leagues.
