Molina (oblique) could miss the remainder of the postseason, according to an AP report published in The Oregonian. Molina departed Sunday's Game 2 with a strained left oblique and was replaced by Tony Cruz. While Molina hasn't been officially ruled out, manager Mike Matheny did not sound optimistic about his status but said he'll wait for medical confirmation before making any roster decisions. If Molina is replaced on the NLCS roster, he'd be ineligible to play in the World Series, should the Cardinals advance. "If we have to go short with an opportunity to have him back, we'd do that," Matheny said. "But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
