Zimmermann pitched a no-hitter in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Nationals. He struck out 10 and allowed only one walk. Not a bad way to finish off the regular season. Were it not for a dramatic diving catch by Stephen Souza Jr. for the final out, the no-hitter would have been spoiled. Still, Zimmermann dazzled in Sunday's start, throwing 79 of 104 pitches for strikes en route to his first ever no-hitter. The right-hander had another impressive regular season in 2014, going 14-5 with a 2.66 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 182:29 K:BB ratio over 199.2 innings. Needless to say, Zimmermann will be an integral part of Washington's postseason rotation.
