Jay was a late scratch from Sunday's starting lineup. Jay was in the original starting lineup, but was scratched after the Cardinals clinched the NL Central division following Pittsburgh's loss to the Reds. Yadier Molina, Matt Carpenter, Jhonny Peralta and Matt Holliday will take a seat as well.
