Ortiz (wrist) remains out of the lineup Friday against the Yankees, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports. The 38-year-old may very well have played his final game of 2014, though the team hasn't officially shut him down. Ortiz is dealing with inflammation in his wrist and the team will take all the necessary precautions, sine he said it feels similar to how he felt when he suffered a ligament tear in 2008.
