Manager Matt Williams told MLB Network Radio that he expects Zimmerman (hamstring) to play nine innings in left field Wednesday against the Mets. Zimmerman, who returned from the disabled list Saturday, was held out of the lineup the last two days after his hamstring bothered him a little more than he anticipated. He was still able to pinch-hit Tuesday night, and it seems like the couple days off have granted him adequate recovery. He'll likely step into the lineup Wednesday for Denard Span, who will more than likely be rested after suffering a bruised knee while making a diving catch a night earlier.
