Gee allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks in 6.2 innings to pick up the defeat in the Mets' 4-3 loss to the Marlins on Wednesday. Gee surrendered three runs the first two innings before settling down. He left the game with a runner on base, who came around to score and that run proved to be the difference in the game. Gee will get at least one and maybe two more starts to end what has been somewhat of a disappointing season for him after last year's breakthrough campaign.
