Morneau (upper body) went 1-for-3 with two runs scored in Monday's loss to the Dodgers. Morneau was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the ninth inning, but that likely had more to do with the Dodgers owning an 11-3 lead than any concern about the upper-body injury that kept Morneau out the first two games. He was hit by a pitch in his last at-bat in the seventh inning, but still stayed on the field defensively for the final two frames.
