Rizzo (back) took batting practice on the field prior to Wednesday's game, the Associated Press reports. He's increasing his activity this week, having taken a lighter BP session prior to Tuesday's game. Rizzo could return in the coming days, but the Cubs have no incentive to push him back into the lineup if he's still feeling any pain in his back.
