Kimbrel tossed a scoreless ninth inning to protect a 5-2 win and log his 40th save against Miami on Friday night. The 40 saves gives him four consecutive seasons with 40 or or more saves. He hasn't been quite as dominant this season, but a 1.70 ERA isn't exactly a poor showing, and he remains one of the premier closers in the game.
