Cabrera (hamstring) said Monday that he expects to return from the disabled list by the end of the weekend, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Cabrera was seen jogging and hitting on the field prior to Monday's game against the Brewers, signaling that his hamstring doesn't seem to be bothering him. The Padres haven't indicated yet if Cabrera will require a rehab assignment, but since he seems to be performing a full range of baseball-related activities, it may not be necessary.
