Sale allowed four runs (all unearned) on four hits in six innings Sunday against the Yankees on Sunday, but he did not factor into the decision. He struck out seven and walked three. Sale was breezing through this one in typical Sale fashion, and it only became a clunker after Dayan Viciedo dropped a fly ball in the bottom of the sixth, paving the way for a four-run inning. The error made it so that all of the runs were unearned, but Sale did not help himself with two walks in the inning and a hit batsman that resulted in a run. His next start should come Saturday against Detroit.
