Verlander surrendered four earned runs on eight hits over 5.2 innings in a win over the Twins on Saturday. He also struck out six and walked three. The win brings Verlander's record back up to .500 at 11-11, but he wasn't able to bring down his ERA on the season -- which now sits at a very non-Verlander-like 4.82 through 26 starts. It was nice to see him grab the W after departing early in his last start with shoulder inflammation, but the Tigers (and fantasy owners) will want the 31-year-old Cy Young winner to tighten things up in the final month of the season, especially with Tigers battling for their playoff lives.
