Gee pitched 5.2 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four batters before picking up his sixth loss (4-6) of the year in Tuesday's game against the A's. Gee has really struggled since coming off the DL on July 9, having posted just two quality outings in his eight starts since being activated. He has given up at least four runs in five of those starts. As a result Gee's ERA has risen from 2.73 to 3.84 since his activation. Gee will look to turn it around in his next start which is set for Tuesday at home against the Braves.
