Gee took the loss against the Nationals on Thursday, giving up four runs and four hits in six innings. Gee didn't perform well in his last three starts during the month of July, but appeared to have corrected things with two great outings in August. The veteran righty is not going to overwhelm opposing hitters, and his strikeout rate has always been below average, but he normally doesn't get hammered either. He'll try to get back on track in his next start, pitching against a formidable Oakland lineup on the road.
