Dickey pitched well in a no-decision against the Tigers on Friday night, allowing two runs on five hits, walking four and striking out six over six innings. His command wasn't as sharp as he would like, needing 101 pitches (63 for strikes) to cover the six innings, but he avoided his season-long nemesis by keeping the ball in the park all night. He left in line for a win, but the usually reliable Casey Janssen struggled and surrendered the Jays lead in the ninth. Dickey (9-11, 3.99 ERA) will face the Mariners in Seattle next time out.
