Victorino (back) will undergo surgery in Los Angeles on Tuesday, the Boston Herald reports. The surgery will mean the end of Victorino's injury-plagued season, during which he's played only 30 games while battling hamstring and back ailments. In 123 at-bats, Victorino slashed .268/.303/.382 with two home runs and 12 RBI. His absence over the remaining two month of the season should clear the way for Yoenes Cespedes to be the everyday right fielder.
