Mopping up after Clay Buchholz was pulled, Felix Doubront gave up six runs while getting just two outs in the sixth inning Monday against the Red Sox. The Red Sox brought Doubront in with the idea that he'd pitch at least a couple of innings and maybe even finish the game. Instead, he gave up six hits and two walks to the 10 batters he faced, throwing 36 pitches in the inning. It's possible that it was his last outing with Boston, as he'd like a trade if he's not going to be a starter, but it's quite a bit more likely that he sticks around and gets another chance to start later this year.
