Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Sunday that Sergio Romo has been removed from the closer role. Santiago Casilla and Jeremy Affeldt will receive the save chances for now. Romo blew his fifth save of the season Saturday and has allowed 15 runs in his last 15 innings. There's a good chance the 31-year-old will eventually get his job back, but for now Casilla and Affeldt will be getting the ball in the ninth inning.
