Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports that infielder Michael Young has chosen to retire rather than continue playing in 2014. Young was considering suiting up for the 2014 season, preferably for the Dodgers, but chose spending time with his family over another grueling season. The 37-year-old will end his 14-year MLB career with a career .300 average and 2,375 hits.
