The Brewers are showing interest in Michael Young for their first base opening, sources tell FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal. The Brewers have also been linked to Ike Davis as they continue to search for a replacement for the departed Corey Hart. Young isn't a prototypical first baseman, but the Brewers don't project to go far this upcoming season and could just be looking for a stopgap for 2014 at this point. The Dodgers and Rockies are also still in the mix for the 37-year-old.
