Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports that the Mets are interested in Mitchell Boggs. The Mets are looking for relievers with late-game experience, as they want some protection in case Bobby Parnell (neck) isn't healthy. Boggs is coming off a lackluster season in 2013, posting an 8.10 ERA in 23 1/3 innings, but he'd be a nice buy-low candidate given his previous success with the Cardinals.
