Verlander left Friday's Grapefruit League game in the third inning with an apparent arm injury, MLive.com reports. Verlander signaled for trainers after covering first base on a ground ball. The team has yet to provide an update, but Tom Gage of FOX Sports Detroit said Verlander didn't seem to be favoring anything when he ran from the dugout to the clubhouse. Reports from earlier in the day had Verlander's fastball consistently in the mid-90s.
