Hellickson remains on track for one of the Diamondbacks' rotation spot to begin the season despite getting knocked around in his two most recent spring appearances. The Diamondbacks have been pushing Hellickson in behind Josh Collmenter as their No. 2 starter since acquiring him from the Rays in November. That he hasn't fared well in a tiny sample size this spring means very little, but with a slew of young starters pushing toward rotation spots this year in the desert, Hellickson will need to pitch well in order to remain in the rotation all season.
