Freese went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the Cactus League outing against the Cubs on Thursday. Freese will head into 2015 looking to rebound from the worst statistical season of his career,when he tallied a .704 OPS in 134 games. There is no indication that the 31-year-old is feeling ill effects after undergoing minor ankle surgery this offseason, but he has just three singles in 16 at-bats this spring.
