Infante underwent an MRI on his right elbow Friday, which showed a bone spur but no ligament damage, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports. With Infante complaining of pain in the elbow, similar to what he experienced last spring, the Royals scratched him from Friday's spring game and scheduled an MRI. Fortunately, no major damage was found, and the team is confident it will not force a long-term absence. There's a possibility the team could opt for a cortisone shot, which would likely keep Infante off the field for several more days.
