Morrow will take the mound Friday against the White Sox, Dennis Lin of the Union-Tribune reports. Morrow and Odrisamer Despaigne are both scheduled to pitch Friday and are considered to be the top candidates to win the fifth starter spot in San Diego's rotation. Robbie Erlin and Matt Wisler were also thought to be in the mix heading into camp. Morrow's big league experience helps his case, but he'll need to prove he can stay healthy to win the job outright.
