Segura spent time during winter ball working on a mechanical adjustment that he hopes adds more power to his swing, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports. Segura tallied just 25 extra-base hits last season after racking up 42 the year before, so he went away from his flat-footed approach and began lifting his front leg -- a change he plans to carry over into the upcoming season. Segura endured a trying 2014 campaign, but if he is able to add some pop back into his game, he will be far more effective as both a hitter and fantasy option in 2015.
