Ortiz (wrist) arrived at spring training Tuesday, the Boston Globe reports. The slugger ended the 2014 season with some discomfort in his wrist, but there was no sign of it Tuesday. It was a slimmer Ortiz who entered JetBlue Park in Fort Myers. He took batting practice following his physical and looked every bit the team's leader, joining newcomers Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval in what the three refer to as "Tres Amigos." There will be no talk of Ortiz' contract this spring -- the club holds options for the next two seasons that become guaranteed should he make at least 425 plate appearances.
