Gordon (wrist) played catch Monday for the first time since undergoing offseason surgery, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio reports. Gordon believes there is no chance he will miss Opening Day this season, and he took his first step towards returning Monday. The 31-year-old outfielder hasn't sat more than 11 games in a season since 2010, and there's no reason to believe that won't be the case again in 2015 barring a setback of some sort.
