Beachy agreed to a one-year contract with the Dodgers on Saturday that includes an option for 2016, Mark Saxon of ESPNLosAngeles.com reports. The Braves declined to tender Beachy a contract in December, making him a free agent, after the right-hander missed the entire 2014 season following Tommy John surgery. It was his second reconstructive elbow surgery in two years, and the Dodgers will be conservative in bringing him through his rehabilitation with an eye toward activation around the All-Star break. Beachy could be an option to start once healthy, but if the rotation remains intact, he could be ticketed for the bullpen.
