Parker has lost his arbitration case with the Athletics and will receive a one-year, $850,000 deal, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. The combination of Parker's 2014 season lost to Tommy John surgery and mediocre 2013 season likely cost him his case, in which he filed for a $1.7 million salary. This was Parker's first go-around in arbitration, and will definitely earn more next year after he's able to pitch this season.
