Wieters (elbow) will throw from 120 feet Monday for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last June, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. It's not clear how much longer Wieters will need to recover from his elbow injury, but he is set to take an important step in the process Monday. Wieters' agent, Scott Boras, is optimistic that his client will be ready for Opening Day, but that probably will not be known for certain until sometime in spring training.
