Cespedes is headed to Detroit in exchange for pitcher Rick Porcello, MLB.com's Jason Beck reports. Cespedes should serve as an everyday outfielder for Detroit, likely taking reps away from the likes of Anthony Gose. He hit a combined 22 long balls between Oakland and Boston in 2014, and will effectively land in his third destination in two seasons. The move will open up an opportunity for in right field for Shane Victorino or Allen Craig to see consistent reps in Boston.
