Kendrick was traded to the Dodgers on Wednesday in exchange for Andrew Heaney, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports. Kendrick will head across town after spending the last nine seasons with the Angels, most of them as a regular. He will take over as the Dodgers' starting second baseman with Dee Gordon on the way to Miami, but where he hits in the batting order likely will not be determined until the Dodgers' wheeling and dealing comes to an end.
