Sandoval will officially sign with the Red Sox, pending a physical, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports confirms. Sandoval is reportedly joining the Red Sox on a five-year deal worth close to $100 million. The highly sought-after third baseman reportedly had offers from the Padres and Giants, but he'll come to Boston to join Hanley Ramirez in what will be a revamped Red Sox lineup. The 28-year-old Sandoval, a three-time World Series champion and the 2012 World Series MVP, hit .279/.324/.415 with 73 RBI and 16 home runs last season.
