Lowrie did not receive a qualifying offer from the A's, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports. The shortstop will be a free agent this offseason, and, as he prepares to enter his age-31 season, probably profiles as a below-average starting shortstop, when factoring in defense and age. That said, he will probably be given a starting job somewhere, and will therefore be fantasy relevant, especially in deeper leagues.
