Molina departed Sunday's NLCS Game 2 against the Giants with a strained left oblique, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Derrick Goold reports. Molina did not leave the box after grounding into a double play and it was immediately clear he suffered some sort of injury. Tony Cruz came on in relief to catch the seventh inning, and at this point it remains to be seen whether Molina will be able to return at some point in this series. While the team is yet to provide an official prognosis, Molina will likely miss Game 3 in San Francisco on Tuesday.
