Ellsbury (hamstring) is out for the rest of the season, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports. After missing the past few games with a strained hamstring, the Yankees have decided to shut Ellsbury down for the remainder of the season. Though he missed the last few weeks of the season, Ellsbury posted his best season since 2009, hitting 16 home runs and swiping 39 bases.
