Ellsbury (hamstring) took part in some light exercises Tuesday but still has not progressed to any baseball activities, MLB.com reports. Manager Joe Girardi said last weekend that there was "a distinct possibility" the hamstring strain would end Ellsbury's season, but Ellsbury is still holding out hope that he can return. However, considering that there's just five games remaining in the regular season and Ellsbury still hasn't resumed baseball activities, it seems more likely we won't see him again until 2015.
