Rodney posted his league-leading 46th save Thursday but not before he allowed a solo home run against the Angels. At least he protected the lead, which is more than can be said for his last outing in which he walked four to blow the save. Despite his 2.70 ERA and 1.34 WHIP, Rodney has blown only three saves this season -- only Greg Holland has blown fewer (2) among closers with more than 35 save opportunities.
