Rutledge went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 16-2 romp over the Dodgers. Rutledge isn't showing the burst of power or speed that he demonstrated last season with the Rockies, but he has been hitting with far more consistency in 2014. He'll have a lockdown on the starting shortstop job for the rest of the season, but with Troy Tulowitzki (hip) expected back for the start of spring training, his status heading into 2015 is on shaky ground.
