Morneau (upper body) is out of the lineup Saturday against the Cardinals. Intercostal soreness resulted in Morneau's early exit from Friday's game, and he'll sit Saturday as Ben Paulsen steps in at first base. The Cardinals are starting lefty Marco Gonzalez on Sunday, so the Rockies may very well just hold Morneau out through the weekend.
