Rizzo (back) took batting practice and ran the bases before Friday's game, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat reports. Rizzo appears to be getting closer and closer to a return to the field, but the indication is still that Monday will be his return date. Either way, the Cubs will enjoy a boost to the middle of their lineup when he finally returns.
