Hardy (back) believes he can play Friday against the Yankees, the Baltimore Sun reports. Hardy received a cortisone shot in his back earlier in the week and said Friday morning that he's feeling much better. However, he's yet to swing at 100 percent and would like to do so before he makes a final decision. With a doubleheader on tap Friday, Hardy is more likely to play in the first game, as opposed to both.
