Cobb took a no-decision against the Yankees on Thursday, but was fantastic, allowing just one hit and one run in 7.1 innings. He issued a couple of walks and struck out four. Cobb had a no-hitter through the first seven innings, but was pulled after giving up a one-out double to Chris Young, who eventually scored off of reliever Brad Boxberger. He was still in line for the win, but closer Jake McGee surrendered three runs in the bottom of the ninth. The underrated Cobb has been superb in his last 13 starts, not allowing more than two runs in any of those outings, while going 5-1 during that stretch. He's scheduled for just one appearance next week, but start him with confidence, as he'll take on the Yankees again at home.
