Cuddyer (hamstring) was activated from the 15-day DL on Monday. He'll be in the lineup at first base Monday against the Mets, batting in the cleanup spot for the Rockies. In a season chock-full of health issues, Cuddyer's most-recent injury qualifies as one of the lesser concerns, as he missed only the minimum 15 days on account of the hamstring issue. During the few occasions in which he's been healthy this season, Cuddyer has shown that his NL batting title campaign of 2013 was no fluke, batting .331 with six homers over his 130 at-bats. With the 35-year-old set to become a free agent after the season, a productive, injury-free September could help him land a favorable new contract in the winter.
