Beckett (hip) said that he is done for the season, the L.A. Times' Dylan Hernandez reports. This should come as no surprise based on everything we've learned about Beckett's situation over the past few weeks. He said that he will need to talk with his wife about his future, but hip surgery will be necessary for him to pitch again, even with shutting it down this season. He holds little value in dynasty leagues at this point with his future so uncertain, and he should have already been dropped in most single-season leagues.
