The Reds are considering surgery to repair the flexor mass tendon in Bailey's forearm. "It's being discussed," manager Bryan Price said on Tuesday. "With that particular injury, it's one of the options. It's not the only option. As we move forward, we'll consider it as something that would certainly rectify the problem." Bailey's injury is the third such injury for the Reds in the last two years - Jonathan Broxton had surgery for it last August, and Mat Latos returned without surgery earlier this season.
