Cespedes was 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a losing effort against Seattle on Friday night. After leaving Thursday's game due to a family medical emergency, Cespedes returned to the lineup Friday, and contributed his 21st home run while running his RBI total to 83 on the year. With a stroke well-suited to his new home park, there is a chance he could enjoy a strong stretch run despite the Red Sox falling out of contention.
